Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners.

THE JOB

As an Assistant Media Planner you’ll work closely with a team of media experts in developing and maintaining media plans, while absorbing as much media knowledge as possible.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting in the development and execution of the media plan
  • Gathering and compiling data to support the media recommendation, including running syndicated research on the consumer
  • Updating media planning documents for client usage
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal activation and digital teams
  • Collecting competitive research and preparing reports
  • Preparing media buy authorizations
  • Monitoring media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
  • Developing filmmaker presentations on Keynote
  • Update vendor trafficking sheets
  • Send, request and file all digital insertion orders for a campaign

 

  • Identify and trouble-shoot missing and incomplete invoices that are needed for billing
  • Work with the billing coordinator to match Insertion Orders
  • Monitor tag assets to ensure the most current linking and creative are assigned
  • Compile and file campaign screenshots
  • Pulling digital reporting and supporting team members in gathering accountable learnings to be delivered to client
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals

 

YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong interest in a media planning or digital media career
  • Relevant experience in media or advertising preferred, but not required
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative (analytical and math) skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
